Nestled cozily between the beautiful houses and the park across the street. A perfect spot for a rainy evening. Lots of space to work.
The interiors are minimalist but warm and welcoming. They have a large menu of teas and coffees that adorn a beautiful looking chalkboard on the wall.
The cortada was just the right flavor, full, hint of milk and a lot of delicious coffee.
Very easy to miss, it has no sign posts. There is Street parking available. -

Love this spot. Cosy, lots of space to work if you need to.
The Ginger Lemonade is very spicy and refreshing, and my friend's cappuccino was delicious.
A nice spot to hang and chat, or to get out of the sun or rain. -

Best coffee in the east end, the staff are lovely & the view is amazing. My boyfriend showed me this place & we go almost every single morning. It's just great !

My favourite coffee shop in the city with one of the best patios, reminiscent of Paris. The patio seats are all lined up, overlooking Riverdale Park and with expansive views of the Toronto skyline. Try to leave time and have your coffee outside.
The interior is nicely decorated. Coffees are amongst the best in the city and staff very approachable if you have questions. They have a a large assortment of beverages and snacks, and decent pricing. -

Great views and great vibe. I have to admit.
I ordered a coffee while I spent some time inside the cafe to relax. I picked the very worn couches to sit on. They were comfy and I appreciated the little tables on the side for me to put my drink, instead of having to bend over to the front.
The coffee itself is acidic, very acidic. I have had worse but this was not good. I spent about 2 hours here and did not finish it.
On Yelp, the hours stated that it closes at 8pm. It was about 6:50 and there were still a handful of customers sitting outside so I was not sure why the guy working here started sweeping the floor after getting McD delivery from a friend and eating it about a meter and half away from me. The dust from sweeping was everywhere, and I started sneezing. I felt like I shouldn't even stay here because the dust I was breathing in was probably bad for me. There was free wifi so I took advantage of it and decided to finish up what i was doing which took me about 2 more minutes. Guy kept sweeping the floor in front of me and making a mess..
I finally packed my stuff and asked the girl working here if they close at 8. Apparently they are operating on their winter hours so they close at 7, and she was aware of the fact that some customers think it closes at 8. It was 7:05 and sweeping dust in my face was not an appropriate way to tell me it is closing time.
And what is ridiculous is that empty glasses were on the table in front me throughout my stay here in the cafe, which was about 2 hours. The guy thought it was a better idea to sweep the dusty floor in front of a customer instead of cleaning the glasses first?
